About Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand (1905–1982) was a Russian-American novelist and philosopher known for developing the philosophical system of Objectivism. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she emigrated to the United States in 1926, where she gained fame for her novels "The Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged," both of which champion individualism and capitalism. Rand's work has had a lasting impact on libertarian and conservative thought.
