About Zeno of Citium
Zeno of Citium (c. 334–262 BCE) was a Greek philosopher from Cyprus and the founder of the Stoic school of philosophy. He developed a system of thought that emphasized rationality, self-control, and virtue as the path to true happiness, influencing later philosophical traditions. Zeno's teachings, which integrated elements of early Socratic thought and cynicism, laid the groundwork for Stoicism, a school that would deeply impact Western thought.
